So, what are the best things in life? The answer is different for every individual.

When we reminisce about our favorite moments, we think about family, friends, and simple pleasures – things like playing ball with our kids, walking our dog on the beach, celebrating a team win, watching a sunset, coming inside to a warm fire, or seeing the live performance of a favorite song...

These naukabout moments were the impetus for our business.

Twenty years ago, our father would come home after work and change into his most comfortable clothes, his “knockabouts." Putting the workday behind him, he'd head out to the yard to play ball with my brothers and me. For us, those times were some of life’s best experiences and lasting memories.

So, with a bit of spin and a change in phonetics, the Naukabout Afterwear apparel company was born. Our mission is to provide comfortable, quality clothing for people to savor their favorite moments after work and sport.

In addition to designing quality Afterwear, we strive to inspire and create opportunities for all people to naukabout – by sponsoring events like the Naukabout Music Festival and by giving a portion of proceeds to the Camp Naukabout Scholarship Fund, to make camp experiences available to kids in need.

Life is full of things we have to do, but it’s important to keep a healthy balance with what we love to do.
